I want to start an in-house newsletter in my branch unit as part of HR exercise. Apart from some inputs regarding the organisation itself, what else can go into it. Can my member friends suggesst some areas as also some catchy names for the newletter

Dear Subramaniam,
Nice that you have thought about a in house NL, well the name can be something pertaining to your company........why dont u have a contest for it ask the employees themselves then you will get an idea what they would like from the NL.
You could include- quizzes, crosswords etc whereby you could have prizes, every quarter.........this will increase the reading of your NL
Include achievements of the employees and their family members
Jokes and riddles
Stories with moral and meaning
Useful sites and addresses
a food corner on health tips, diets, recipes
articles from employees
messages from top management
enviornment related issues
once you get going it will come on...........
