Does CPSU follow the principle of paying shift allowances to its officers who work the evening (B Shift) and night (C Shift) shifts? Why are oil PSUs not paying shift allowances to their employees?

May be because of the terms of settlement made by the Oil companies. If your officers attend shifts, naturally, they must get shift allowance. If not paid, it should be due to non availability of such an allowance in the wage settlement, right? Then you should take a call when the next settlement/ salary revision comes or raise it as an industrial dispute before the appropriate authority.
