Employee wants to deposit additional Amt Rs 5000/- towards PF contribution?


One of our employee wants to deposit additional amt 5000/- towards pf contribution kindly advise possibility and how to show by employer.

It is not a deposit account but a contribution account. If an employee deposits 5000, then the employer also has to pay an equal amount. In a nutshell, the basic salary will increase by 5000 * 100 / 12 = 41667 above the normal basic salary.
