Can we notify a person who is qualified in Master of Social Work (Medical and Psychiatric) as Welfare Officer of a Factory in Tamilnadu as per the provisions of the act?

Under the FA and state rules, approved qualifications are laid down.
To the best of my knowledge, the qualification of MSW with specialization in Medical and Psychiatric Social work is not approved for appointment of Welfare Officer.
However, please refer, in this regard to your state factories rules .
