I am working in my present company from last 1.8 years. My Contract with the company are already ended. Now I am switching to other company. In my contract my notice period is of 90 days. But as my contract is already over so , I provided notice period of 30 days. This Is already informed to my manager, and he provided an verbal confirmation . But just before 10 days of my reliving my manager had provided an official acceptance with 60 days notice period. So, What should I do?

Both you and management are equally responsible for the problem.When your contract ended officially, you should have asked for an official extension letter.
Now both of you have differing interpretations of notice period.
The company is in a better position to dominate and ask for longer notice period(at least what was given in contract)
Suggest you go and negotiate with company and try for amicable exit.

What you mean by 'My Contract with the company are already ended' Are you under contract (Fixed term contract) employment. Then question of notice period does not comes in. Whereas if you are on regular employment and your terms of appointment specifies that 90 days notice for resignation, you are bound by it, as this is part of conditions of services.

Did you have a written contract when you first joined?
What does it say about exit/cessation ?
Everything was in grey area and now finally you are forced to run around.As said,Speak to management and gently persuade them to mutually clear the exit.

Fixed term contract is for a specific period mentioned in the appointment order and the employee is ceases to be a workmen at the close of working hours mentioned in the appointment order, that is as the last day of working allowed in the appointment order.
Whereas regular employment contract, is normal appointment order with a specific clause for a notice period / in lieu of notice, for both parties to terminate the contract.
I am not in a position to understand your statement that 'My contract are ended' if so on what agreement / understanding the contract was given to you?

You can also file a complaint with the labor officer that you have completed 240 days and claim all statutory benefits and all other stuff you are entitled to. The company will relieve you immediately.

Going by your message it seems that you had entered into a time bound contract wherein a fixed from and to dates clause is on the paper and duly signed. Once the said period is over your contract also ends with no necessity for any notice to be provided, as you had successfully completed the period stipulated. If there is anything more to the employment letter, please do provide the details. Not sure as to why you had given them notice of 30 days.

In some companies, there will be a Employment Bond (or say it as a Contract) for one year or two years. If the Bond is broken what ever the penalty applicable will be there.
On completion of the Bond period if at all you want to leave the company, on normal course of business, there will a notice period which you have adhere.
As all our learned people have told, if it is a contract for a specific period then there cant be notice pay period, it may be there also if you want to leave the company before the contract period.
So in that case naturally only if you want to leave company before the contract period you may serve on the notice period.
