Why Can't My Brother Be the Nominee for My Provident Fund? Let's Discuss the Rule


What is the reason behind the rule...why brother should not the nominee for provided fund???

The PF scheme is for the welfare of the subscribing member and their family members. By hierarchy, a brother is not considered a family member of the subscriber themselves. Instead, they are treated as a family member of their father only.
