Dear All,
I am looking for your valuable comments on some of the challenges that a Learning and Development Manager faces. For example, Driving Learning Adoption. Most End Users Tend To De-Prioritise Learning Due To Delivery Pressures.
Thanks

My views on the issue from the other side of the fence as a participant in training programmes is that the learning and development content often used to sound theoretical and failed to engage the participants in the learning process. Resultantly the participants even after they come out of the programme, used to do things the same way they did in the past.It means the L&D failed to bring about the change which it intended to.The L&D Manager shall sit with operational heads and identify the problem areas and the gap in skills and then hold discussions with instructional designers to help them design the content that can engage the participants as well as aligned with the needs.
