Hi I was promoted from agent to teamleader last year may month and was given a salary hike from 15k to 23k at that time. Now I am asking for hike but they are saying that first hike was above 50%. And I can't get any appraisal. Is it correct.

Hey Shray,
My point of view is .
Different companies have different policies. You have to check this with your policy.
But by the rules there is a rule of appraisal if you didn't lack in performances and you didn't have any warning letter.
Hope this may help you.

I agree with the point of Mr. Gautam. But appraisal should be made whether salary hike is applicable or not

Hey Shray,
The appraisal depends on the quality of work you are providing and also by the policy of firm in which you are working .
There should be an appraisal of minimum 10% but again read the policy of the company before discussing it. You can ask them the reason why they are not giving you the appraisal.
The reason they have mentioned you before was inappropriate.Your appraisal doesn't depends on your previous appraisal it depends on the quality of work you are providing them and the output they are earning from your work.
Stay Calm .
