Guidance on Choosing Between Recruitment Roles for Career Growth - CiteHR

Kindly suggest to me about my career path. I have a work experience of 1.1 years, where 3 months were spent in recruiting (1st job) and 10 months in Overseas Education Counseling (2nd job). Recently, I started attending interviews and joined a Local Consultancy for the position of Recruitment Executive (Day Shift). However, I received a call from another Consultant asking me to join as a US IT Recruiter (Night Shift). Could you all please provide guidance regarding the career path of a US IT Recruiter? Kindly suggest what I should do at this point in time. My joining date for the US IT Recruiter role is in the next 2 days. Also, I have not yet received my appointment letter from the consultancy where I am currently employed.

Thank you for your assistance.

Decision-Making: Current Role vs. US IT Recruiter

I do not have much experience in HR. I have been offered a position as a US IT Recruiter, and I believe it will help me gain a better understanding of HR strategies. I am faced with a decision of whether to continue in my current role as a recruiter, which I started just a week ago, or to start the US IT Recruiting position on Monday, December 24, 2012. I would appreciate your guidance in making this decision as I am not feeling satisfied in my current job.

Work Environment Comparison

The current place I work at is a small consultancy with only three employees, including myself. On the other hand, the US IT Recruiting consultancy has 36 employees. I am also undecided about the night shift aspect of the job, where there will be six girls, including me if I choose to join. Your assistance in my decision-making process would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
