Dear Arpita,
You can say several reasons like,
wants to get in to more automated procedures or latest technology upgradation generally software people say this.
Reason could even be looking for more plum package.
relocation or location preference
You may have some other problems in the previous company due to which you are looking for a change ( peer relationship, reporting person or policies & procedures of the company even matter)
there could be several reasons which you don't like abt your x company But make sure never to badmouth abt the previous company.

dear arpita..
there r so many reasons to leave a company.. u first decide what is ur main intention to leave the present company.. list down the reasons for leaving before attending for the interview.. as our frns told there are several reasons...
like ur pay, career growth, flexiblity, technology change, or any of ur personal problems.. but don't get confused while answering infront of the interviewer as it may causes that the other person may nt believe ur words..
make sure that the reasons should be of generic and realistic.....
all the best

hi,
i like to give u few points which have to be followed when a question of "why did you leave your last job?" is asked.
Why did you leave your last job?
Stay positive regardless of the circumstances. Never refer to a major
problem with management and never speak ill of supervisors, co-workers
or the organization. If you do, you will be the one looking bad. Keep
smiling and talk about leaving for a positive reason such as an
opportunity, a chance to do something special or other forward-looking
reasons.
with thanks & regards,
