Pivot tabel is an analysis tool which will where data table is too large. for example you have a HR data table which contains employee data where in you have to find out or analyse datewise joining of employees & their CTC.
In this case if you will use pivot in less than minute you will get the data arranged as you require.
Vlookup & Hlookup are functions defined in excel which will help to find records from one table to another by horizontally & vertically. But it has some conditions which needs to satisfy. Go through the excel help for the conditions. function alias @vlookup(reference of data which need to find, reference table where reference data can be find,result column number, else zero).
