Can without notice employer can ask an employee to leave the post for which a person has been appointed. For ex.The employer ask his Manager to handover charge to some one else and not telling what to be done after that.

There is no need of to employer give prior notice in such cases because that guage's your performance, for which post your appointed if you are not having the ability, in that case they can do so......

It happen to me also, GM of the company asked for resignation,I asked her to terminate as per offer letter. So she moved out of project and next not assigned me any work and also I not allowed to sign attendance register. Finally I gave resignation. please me know what are the option for employee. (There is no work related issue, I work has appreciated by customer).

"Not allowing to sign attendance Register" is not legally tenable, unless a suspension or termination order has been served or issed.
The direction / instruction issued for prevension of signing of attendance order is equivalent to termination.
Customer appreciation is not measure of performance, unless they have communicated the same in writing to your employer. However your employer may cite other reasons for termination.

Notice period was 3 months( both side ). As they were not ready pay the notice period amount. So they played the that game.
Yes I have appreciation mail form from customer manger. ( real reason was very personal , regarding marriage )

You have not mentioned the exact position you holds in the company i.e. whether your job profile is of workman or Manager / Supervisory as defined under Industrial Disputes Act.
Anyway, if your profile is of a workman and amicably no solution to the dispute is arising out, you can raise demand notice against the occupier / management under section 2 before the conciliation officer cum Inspector / Officer of your circle otherwise you have to file a civil suit which may take years without suitable reward.
It is therefore, advised to first try your level best to amicably settle the issue in terms of your appointment letter as even raising demand before the conciliation officer is also generally not digestible to the management and will try another tool to throw you out.

Everyday we go to work, we have to understand that unless protected by labor laws, employment is on the concept of "free will." Means employer is willing to give work and employee is willing to work, hence relationship continues. Yes, employer can ask the employee to leave without assigning any reasons what so ever. In that case compensation payable will be sum of (1) whole salary till last working day and (2) defined salary for the notice period in appointment letter.

In a normal way, no employer would like to indulge in any type of dispute with employees as it causes unrest, bad reputation and loss to the company. There must be some cogent reason for such hard step of disallowing you to mark your attendance and no work is allotted to you. I think you know the reason but do not want to share it with the community. If you are clear in your mind and heart, why don't you approach the person to your manager and next senior person in your concern and apprise them of the situation. Meet them, seek the reason and try to resolve the issue and still it is not resolved, get suitable notice framed from some legal person and serve them. Wish you get the matter settled early.
