can any one tell me what is pro-rate basis?
if an employee (BPO)worked for 23 days in a month how to calculate his salary
whether his DA, HRA ,Conveyance and others are also calculated for 23 days or for 26 days
is there any formula let me know the process

Hi Praveen,
In pro-rata basis calculation is done on the basis of number of days worked or associated with the organisation..
Like if an employee is eligible for 24 days of leaves in a calender year and one joins on 1st of May, then on pro-rata basis he will be eligible for only those 8 months leave i.e 16 leaves for that calender year..
If salary is to calculate for 23 days then definitely every components will be calculated for same number of days...
