Hi, Is PF deduction under the PF Act applicable to employees drawing a basic salary of more than Rs 6500? I mean if their basic salary is more tan Rs 6500, is PF deducted on the salary of Rs 6500 or is it that the Act does not apply to such employees but is only applicable to employees drawing a basic pay of Rs 6500 and less??
