hi,
your presentation should have the overall view of the organization, what are its basic ground rules, its benefits explaining each in detail, contact persons and al the information which would help the new employees to get a brief insight as to who handles what.
A typical joining kit would include information about the employee, his educational, family details, email id creation form, medical details, pf forms and id creation.

Induction Manual: Should have Message by Chief Executive / Head of HR. Aim \ Objectives of Induction Programme, Company Vision Statement, Reading Material on Topics to be covered during Induction Training, if applicable, such as Introduction to Organisation/Company, Strategic / Corporate Plans, Intro to Functional Issues i.e. Marketing, Finance, HR, Materials/ Supply Chain etc. to give an overall perspectives

Joining Kit: List /details of all the Trainees, Important Phone nos, Nearest Market, Hospital, Bus Stand etc., FAQs, Synopsis on Joining Formalities, Form/ Formats to be filled-in at the time of joining, Names, Phone nos. of Mentors or other Important Contact Persons, Induction Schedule, Blazer / Tie with Company Logo, Purse with Company Logo for Ladies, Brief on Place of Induction and how to access it - logistics etc., Emergency Facilities / Contact Persons

One could consider supply of pen-drives for making soft copy of presenatations etc.

These are few things which struck me at random.

I am supposed to design
1) An Induction Module
2) Detailed Induction Schedule
3) Effectiveness Measures
4) A total joining kit
Any possible inputs would be a great help
