no long....... my dear friend,
Yeas exactly.....because if the Innovative Technology and Pollution continue for another 10 or 20 years, you/we just deduct 10 yrs. or 20yrs. from your/our total average age.
Example: If u r expected to live upto 70 years then just subtract 20 yrs. from 70 , Ans: 50.

You are an Optimistic Guy, aren't you? You should have been dead by now...
That's what the tool told me... and that got me thinking. Hmm....
18 hrs workday, a family of four living in a 3 bedroom house and yet the most spoken words are " long time no see", openings with no candidates, candidates with no opportunities, management that feels HR is about writing a good employee manual, HR that feels management is "RIGHT", doing a yearly review when you cannot even remember what happened a couple of weeks back, employees who want 100% appraisal, management who want 100% employee retention, We are 5 days working yet open on weekends, banks are 6 days working yet closed on all working days, prices are going up and the sensex is not, employees want drop facility and dropped employees want compensation, Management wants HR to be proactive, HR agrees to make changes to the employee handbook.
Maybe the tool was right after all - "Yeh jeena bhi koi jeena hai yaaro"!!!!!

Hi nkulsh,
Very well said.....
In fact, its a very lucid narration of 'a day in the life of HR'..
But we need to plod on, find meaning in what we are doing, like what we are made to do (or atleast make people believe that we like doing it)...
That how life goes on my friend.......... on and on......
