I’m not sure if your target audience for Absenteeism control training is the supervisors of the workers or the workers themselves.
If it’s the workers, I can say that the problem won’t be solved by training alone. It’s basically a recruitment and/or supervision problem, and until you target that you will be just wasting time and money.
I say it might be a recruitment problem because you might be recruiting workers with a poor match to the job. It may be a supervision problem because your supervisors may not be skilled in motivating workers. Giving workers a regular paycheck is not enough.
Please have a look at http://www.businessperform.com/html/...vironment.html for the important factors for motivating workers. Sure, training will be involved in getting these factors right. But it will be training for supervisors.
In addition, what is your company’s policy on employee absences and how is this communicated to employees and supported by managers and supervisors? And are absences dealt with fairly with the consequences visible to all employees?
