Your question is not clear. What do you want to get? Is Employees Compensation Act covers those who are covered by ESI Act? If that is the question, I would say that NO. Employees Compensation Act covers only those employees who are mentioned in Schedule II of the Act. But ESI Act covers employees in almost all industries but getting wages not more than Rs 21000. Again, in respect of employees covered by ESI, the employer is not responsible for payment of any compensation under Employees Compensation Act but the responsibility of paying compensation will be borne by the ESI Corporation.
