If the organization is following annual practice of encashing 10 EL and lapsing 5 EL-is it correct? Or only when max accumulation limit of 45 EL is reached (as per UP Shop & Establishment act), should encashment be done?

Earned leaves generally as per the company policy. Some companies consider it as lapsed after reaching the max eligibility as described in the policy and some companies may encash as taxable over and above the max eligibility.
