Daily minimum wages fixed by the appropriate government factor in the wages for the weekly rest days. Sundays are normally the weekly rest day for all employees in our bank. In that case, if an employee avails leave on a Saturday and Monday, the Contractor should deduct wages for only two days and not three days since the wages for Sundays are also factored in the daily wages. Please confirm.
