I recently joined one of the companies in Bangalore at Anjanapura as a Talent Partner Recruitment Executive at XXX company. At the time of hiring, the founder told me our salary cycle is 20th to 20th, and I was thinking payout would be 21st or 22nd til 25th of every month. Even the offer letter mentioned "our salary cycle 20th to 20th and payout as on or before 5th of next month. My joining was on 24th September, and till 31st October, my salary has not been made. After requesting, due to Diwali, etc, the compensation was paid but only for 27 days. So my question is, as per law, is it ok or wrong?
