Dear Members, I want to understand what is the relaxation granted from provisions of PF EDLI, 1976 under para 28(7) of the scheme w.e.f.01.07.2001

If you take an insurance which is better than the scheme under EDLI, you can apply for exemption and based on the merits you will get exemption from contributing to EDLI
