Company engaged in doing agency work is having operations at multiple places within Gujrat State and also at many other States. The Company has its Certified Standing Orders for one branch only and has not mentioned that this Certified Standing Orders will be applicable to all the present branches within the State and will apply to new branches that may be opened in future. My question is whether I can take benefit of the Certified Standing Orders of one branch for all the rest of the branches in absence of clear mentioning about its applicability? Senior, please guide me in light of I.E.S.O. Act and its provisions. I will thankful if you can mention any judgement on this topic for my study purpose. Thanks.

You can use the Certified Standing Orders with respect to one unit on other units within the same state, provided the applicability of the Certified Standing Orders provide so. Pl check that, whether it is certified with respect to only one unit or it could be interpreted to cover other units within the State. If there is no express provision for it, you will have to apply the Model Standing Orders on other Units. At any rate, it would not apply on other units outside the state.
