An employee’s salary is 23500 CTC. Should he go for PF and ESI deduction or not? Which option is more beneficial?

ESIC does not apply to him at the moment and voluntary memebership is not an option
PF is always good to have. First it gives you compulsory saving with an attractive non-taxable interest
Then there is a contribution from the employer. So it does make sense to opt for PF
