Dear Neha,
Training period and the period of probation for a freshly passed ITI Electrician is a decision that has to be taken specifically to the company. There cannot be a generalisation. Nevertheless, you may keep six months as the training period and six months as a probation period.
Whether during training or probation, the Electrician becomes employee right from the first day of the employment and the company has to pay the minimum wages to the employee. It has to be increased as and when the state government increases it. As long as you comply with the Minimum Wages Act of your state, everything is fine.
On completion of the training period, by what % to increase the salary is to be decided by the company's administration. Nevertheless, such decisions are guided by the industrial belt in which your company belongs to. For example, the city of Bengaluru has industrial belts at Peenya, Hosakote, Kengeri etc. However, there is a little difference in payment in each belt. In your case, Chakan could be different from Lonikand.
Thanks,
