Policies are the guide lines that covers over aspect of various verticles in an organisation.It is a general information as to how an organisation or a perticular department should function keeping the organisational goal as focal point.
While SoP forms the procedures guidlines to perform certain task as per the given steps in SOP.
It is standard way of performing an activity with out deviation to procedure.
Policies are performed in accordance with the plan, vision and mission of the organisation whike Sops narrates the exact way of following certain procedure to achieve the task.
