Are Earned Leaves considered as working days?
"If an employee resigns while on LWP or does not report for duty after exhausting the LWP, then the last working day prior to proceeding on LWP would be treated as date of separation for all purposes."
So my LWP starts after my Earned Leaves get exhausted. If I resign during LWP what will be the date of separation - Last Working day before going on Earned Leave or Last Day of Earned Leave after which LWP starts?
Note LWP = Leave Without Pay for Educational Purposes

Earned Leave is considered as duty but during the spell of EL the employee will not earn any EL as in the case of his actual duty period.
LWP does not snap employer-employee relationship except in case where the employer declares it as break in service as per the service regulations or standing orders.
Any kind of separation either at the instance of the employer or the employee will take only prospective effect and not retrospectively even during authorized Leave on LOP.
