I served 12 yrs in one university and then 19 years in the second university, till retirement in May 2018. Two different jobs, both were direct appointments. The second university has paid me a gratuity of Rs 10 lakh. Am I eligible to receive the gratuity amount from my first employer university or not. Please guide and enlighten.
