Where are you working. It depends on policies of your firm. However, weekly off can be prefixed or suffixed to a CL. Instead of absent, for whatsoever reasons it may be, you should try to avail Leave Without Pay (LWP) which safer. Apply in advance and get it approved to avoid problems.
