Dear HR Fraternity,
We are a project company and recently we have got an assignment of pipe laying in Rawanda (Africa). We will be deputing our employees (indian origin) at that site. They will be travelling from India to Rawanda and will stay for 6 months till the project completion.
I would seek your help in understanding the compliance requirements such as PF , Gratuities, Factory act etc other than immigration formalities applicable to those employees.

Dear,
For such employee you have to follow all the rules under Indian Labour Laws like (PF, Gratuity, Bonus etc). On other hand you need to follow the laws of that country which he is deputed. Check the laws of that country.

The stausquo of your employee shall remain unchanged except allownces & perks separately decided for this outstation work.
You have to follow the rules regulation of that country for both the categories i.e. employee & contractual workmen if hired specifically. The employee who have been deputed from India to Rawanda are also under the canopy of labour laws of that country.
