supreme court verdict has not changed the EPF basic concept, but split (break up) of salary, mere to reduce the contribution, is heard by the apex court and it has found that most of such break-ups has no valid documentary evidence,
so before calculating the HRA even, the employer has to get ensure about the rent payment,
conveyance is capped upto 10% of basic subject to celing of 1600 under the income tax rules, so any thing which is found excess of violating any law will be get added fully to EPF wages
better have a discussion with CA regarding HRA and conv, and under his supervision collect form 12BB from all employees, to get ensure of HRA component.
