I need to know which one will be more accepted practice regarding 1 hour break. Some says the 1 hour break should be fixed like 30 minutes for Lunch/Dinner and 2 small T breaks. Some others say that 1 hour should have 3 intervals and the employee can have at any time when ever they wish and should not be strict timing to follow like school. Giving flexibility/choice of time to employees will make them happy. I am too confused which one to follow. My personal opinion is to have strict timing. Need your suggestions.

depends on the floor management work experience, if the breaks disturb the work culture then management has to take appropriate steps to make it fixed, it is between floor manager and employees co-ordination, to handle

Dear Colleague,
If you are into manufacturing activity then in my view, half an hour lunch break and one ten minutes' tea break should be in line with largely followed industrial practice.

Dear Colleague,
Since you are in Service industry, you may follow half an hour lunch/dinner break and two ten minutes' tea breaks. It would be better if staggered timings are observed so that service is not affected .
