It is not advisable to maintain all the records electronically. There are various records, registers, returns etc. which have to be filed & maintained and should be produced for inspection of the authorised officials from time to time. However there are some periodical returns which are to be filed on line which are not accepted in hard copies, check those items and do the needful. You have not mentioned anything about your Co. in the absence of these details specific advises could not be given.
