Want to understand as I'm confused with so many links and discussions with my internal team. Professional Tax for Coimbatore has a six-month slab, but I am confused about the months. Do we consider the gross of six months as April to September and October to March, or is it March to August and September to February?
Please help me understand the same.

We have to consider April to September and October to March as we pay Professional Tax in March and September of every year. "Half-year" shall be from the 1st day of April to the 30th day of September and from the 1st day of October to the 31st day of March of a year.
