Hi, I am an HR consultant in the Surat area. As an HR professional, I believe that every industry has its own recruitment policy for hiring employees based on their requirements. In the textile industry, the majority of workmen are either illiterate or have a low level of education. It is very challenging to train them to improve their work and produce quality products. Any changes in government rules regarding employee policies in the industry can be very critical to accept.

First of all, identify the issues you are confronted with or the areas identified for improvement, and then we can come up with suggestions. You have said that the workforce is mostly illiterate; convert that as an advantage as they do not have pre-conceived notions on many things. Look for such positives, as otherwise, there is hardly anything for you to do. Come up with your ideas; we will all see what could be done.
