Dear Aparna,
You could have written a draft of the indemnity bond and uploaded it here for the correction. Secondly, is the event for the adults or for the children? If former, then why do you need the signature of the parents? Anyway, you may use the following draft:
+++++
Date: -
From: -
Mr/Ms ________ (name of the employee)
Employee No _________
To,
The Managing Director
__________ (name of your company)
__________ (short address of your company)
Dear Sir,
1. I have come to know through a general circular that an outstation event has been arranged for the employees of our company at _______ (address of the picnic venue) from _____ (date) to ______ (date). I would like to participate in this event.
2. My participation is out of my volition. I have read the guidelines issued about the event and I will abide by these guidelines. In addition to this, I further declare that:
a) I am responsible for the safe custody of the jewellery pieces, cash and valuables that I carry with me.
b) Though the event will be held out of company premises, I will abide by the code of conduct that is generally applicable to the employees.
c) If any untoward incident happens, I, my legitimate kith and kin, or my nominees will not attribute it to my employer(s). No claims would be passed on to the company.
Thanking you.
Yours faithfully,
_________ (signature of the employee)
