Team, All of us are aware about the devastating fire occurred at Grenfell Tower, London on 14 June 2017.
I was in look out for the exact reasons for this fire and done quite good amount of reading in the internet. Some of the websites given an overall understanding about this fire are below:
London fire: A visual guide to what happened at Grenfell Tower - BBC News
https://www.grenfelltowerinquiry.org.uk/key-documents/
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grenfe...#Direct_causes
Apart from the media reports, does anyone of us have access to the Final Investigation Report from any government bodies? What are the exact reasons for the fire? The fire spread was because of burning of cladding material itself or the cavities in it causing "a chimney effect"?
Many of our clients want to ensure that their premises are safe, very specifically against the Grenfell Tower Fire. What all are the best practices we can suggest to our clients?
Does any of you made any case study out of this Grenfell Tower Fire?
Looking forward to have a meaningful discussion about this topic and to come up with at least top priority 10-15 check points (best practices) for any of the Fire & Life Safety Assessments we do across the world irrespective of legislations of that country.
