We are going to convert all our existing employees from proprietorship code to Private Limited Code. But after that what we have to do with our Proprietorship code. We don't want to surrender that. In future we may do other business under proprietorship name. So we want to retain that. now what is the minimum amount we have to pay for PF & ESI monthly returns and How can we pay that.

only you need to Submit Employer Name Change letter to PF & ESI Authorities.

Your point is not clear - Is there a new company formed or converted Proprietorship into Pvt. Ltd. If there is change in constitution, then you should not have gone in for new ESIC & EPF codes, but should have submitted a letter, informing them about change in constitution along with supporting documents.

Dear All,

Greetings,

Please confirm the procedure for conversion of ESI and PF from solo proprietorship to private limited.
1) We have proprietorship ESI and PF from 2017 to till date and we are using it on monthly basis.
2) When applied for new pvt ltd company name with same owner through MCA portal we received ESI and PF code so please confirm how to close this.

Now a days by default ESI & EPF codes will get generated automatically from the MCA Portal. I doubt whether there will be any provision to club both together but still you can support in transfer all the individual EPFs from old to new & surrender the old EPF/ESI account
