Very good morning ji,
Need your valuable assistance. At present i am associated with an MNC. I have resigned from my services on 05/09/2017 and served my notice period of 45 days as per Contract with company. It has been accepted. I was informed from my supervisor end that My Last working day will be 06/22/2017. After some time on 05/17/2017, In a meeting with senior manager( related to Redeployment for some people), when i asked to respected people
from operations about notified last working day, Then they informed me that they have reduced my notice days and going to release me on 05/31/2017 .It is against my willingness.I would like to serve my full notice period .
please let me know about Two clarification -
1 - Does the company have the right to do so without consulting with me?
2- If yes, please illustrate the respective clause.
Sincerely,
Dev

Dear Devapvijayam,
For the clear answer you need to refer you appointment letter. Most of the time appointment letter says that, the notice period can be served or you can pay the difference by both the parties. In above given case if your letter has the clause then your company is due for paying the difference in notice period which you are ready to serve and they dont want you to.
