Hi,
This is satya, I would like to withdraw or transfer my PF from pervious company. I worked for that company only for two months (draw three salaries). My PF amount is 3000/month.I has my PF account number and my current company also provide new PF account for me. Leaving date of pervious company 29th July 07.My doubts is
1.Is it possible to withdraw my two months PF form old company account? At least transfer that to new PF account?
2.For this withdraw/Transfer shall I get any approval form my old company or current company?
3.If it is possible, how to process my request?
Thank you,
satya.

PF can be withdrawn by making a request of withdrawal to the commisioner of PF in India (assuming you are india ). This form will be available with the HR in your previous company and you will have to receive signatures from the relevant persons for your previous company. PF will be given to you once you have shown 60 days of unemployment.
Alternately if you are continuing work in India why not continue the same? get the transfer application from your new employer, you would have received an acknowledgement from the previous employer.... PF will then get transfered.
regards

Fill up Form 19 of PF Scheme, the same is verified and details of your contribution filled by the rep of the employer, and sent to RPFC's office for further processing. This is time bound.
8.33% of the employer contribution goes to Pension and the Govt/ PF Dept adds 1.16% into it. It is for you whether you want to withdraw or continue. Fill up Form 10C of the Pension Scheme and go ahead with the above process. Of course if you do not withdraw it, to be continued later, they give you a Certificate of your record.
Principle of Social Security and virtues of Savings would have it that you continue. For this, fill up Form 13 of the PF Scheme, and hand over to the Pers Dept of the new employer, who shall process the same to transfer your existing record to the new one with current employer.
