I'm joining a startup with about 50 employees. The company is part of the EPF scheme and my offer letter also mentions the same in the compensation breakup. However, I do not want to wish to be a part of the EPF scheme and want to opt out. Through my previous employer I did have an EPF account. However, I have withdrawn the holdings in there and also it was in a different state. Is it still possible for me to opt out of EPF? I do qualify for the month salary being above 15,000.
