Sir, the Central Govt, being appropriate government has issued draft notification dated 06/10/2016 under ESI Act, 1948 for enhancement and certain other amendments relating to Maternity Benefit as admissible to eligible insured woman under said Act . Copy of said draft notification is uploaded as follows for kind information of members of this forum. However, it is mentioned that this is only a proposal or draft of the amendment and final notification is scheduled to be issued by the said government after following procedure as laid down in said notification.
