Shilpi, A sarcastic derivative from your story:
A chick was standing near the trunk of a tree, staring at the top. A crow staying on the top of the tree told the chick, "You too can fly and climb the tree like me. All you have to do is bring me two loaves of bread every day, and at the end of the year, I will give you something with which you can climb the tree easily."
The chick believed this and worked for the crow for one full year. At the end of the year, the crow called the chick, gave two pages of an appreciation letter along with a box. The chick eagerly opened the box to see that "something" which would make it climb the tree.
Guess what was inside? Peanuts :o This is what you get if you work like a dog for a crow :oops:
