Salary Issues [Thread 557702]

Hi, I would like to know if a pvt ltd company can withhold monthly salary for 10 employees and say it will release only if targets are completed? there are 20 employees and 10 have already got their pay. but the rest of us in sales team are still waiting as the person in charge has said he will release only if targets are met. we are all permanent employees. Please help

Obviously withholding pay is highly irregular and not permitted.
Achievement of targets is another issue which is related to incentives and not basic pay and DA etc.
Represent to higher authorities about this issue.
