I am working in a manufacturing company in Bangalore. Since manufacturing process is going on, we had registered under Department of factories and boilers and we are submitting all the required forms including Combined Annual return Form 20 for last 5 years. Recently Labour department people came to our company and asked us to submit Form U(Annual return). According to my knowledge Form U is similar to Form 20 and comes under Shops & Establishment act.
Do we need to Submit Form U to Labour department along with Labour welfare fund, Form D etc??. Is there any separate form U for Labour department other than that comes under Shops & Establishment act?
