i have been selected in ongc and they have given me time till march end to join but i need time till may end.they said they will not extend my date of joining. is there any legal process through which i can extend my date of joining or any other path to extend date of joining?

Public Sector firms are pretty stringent with rules, because there processes run very long. If you have been scheduled for a date of joining, your training starts corresponding to that date. Each batch of Management Trainee is indexed as per their joining. Hence, not sure, if they would be able to consider. If I am not wrong, similar to other Public Sector firms they have an year long training following that.
