I worked in Pvt firm. My joining date 19 May 2011 and resign date is 03Feb2016. (working days 04 years 252 days) No LOP in my company records. I received all 4 years 252 days salary in my account. Whether I am eligible for gratuity?

As per the Gratuity act 1972 you need to work continuously in a company for 5 years. or 4 years 240 days.
The following are the conditions:
1. In each year 240 paid days need to be there. ( Which includes leaves with wages )
2. In any year you have worked less than 240 days that year will not be considered.
3. Calculation: For every year 15 days of salary will be given.
Formula: Last drawn basic + D.A / 26 days per month X 15 days per year X No of years worked.
