2.Service in second company - May 1995 to Dec 1998
3. Service in third organization - jan 1999 to Mar 2003.
The PF contributions were transferred properly when I changed jobs. I joined fourth company which did not have PF facility. Hence, PF was withdrawn through third organization. Here I received 2 cheques. One was for PF contributions. The second one was for Rs. 49010/-. Now since I have completed 60 years go age; I want to apply for pension. But I am confused that second cheque was for withdrawal of EPS. Can anyone clarify if I am eligible for pension? I am repeating this post since I want more views.

Dear RaviDJoshi, If you have transferred previous services properly, you are eligible for pension. However check with the last Sub Regional PF Office. Abbas.P.S

Dear Abbasiti
As suggested by you earlier, I have already filled forms 10 C and 10 D as suggested by my last employer & send required supporting documents. I am awaiting the reply. How long shall I wait for response?

Dear Mr. Joshi,

You are eligible for pension. The two chques you recd. are only for EPF Contribution. As u said all the PF transferred properly, the Pension Fund must be retained by the PF office.

Some part from Employer contribution is being deposited under EPF Head (which is returned to employee).

Earlier (upto Aug. 2014) the amount of Pension Fund was restricted to Rs. 541/pm. If the employee PF is Rs. 1000/-, same is employer. Now from Employer Contribution only Rs. 541/- goes under Pension Fund the balance clubbed with Employee Provident Fund.

The PF office has seperate data agst the diffrence amount. In example Rs. 459 (1000-541).

The second chq of Rs. 49010/- should be related to the difference amount.

It was long back while you withdraw the PF. The exercise (how you will get the pension) should be done in 2003 only by ur employer.

The PF office issues some certificate at time of withdrawal, which the employee should submit at age of 58-60. On basis of the certificate/document the Pension is being processed.

You can approach the concern PF office, and can take help of last employer also.

Gud luck.....
