Dear All,
Request you to clarify weekly off under AP Shops & establishment act.
(Section 19 Holidays: 1) Every employee in any establishment shall be allowed in each week a holiday of one whole day:
Provide that, nothing in this sub-section shall apply to any employee whose total period of employment in the week, including any days spent on authorised leave is less than six days.)
Does it mean employee must present to the duty for 6 days in a week to entitle the weekly off?
Regards
