I am going to deduct salary of an employee who is absent for 2 days in October. his salary is 2500 US dollars. working days in our organization is 22 days . now, should i deduct the salary on the basis of whole month (31 days) or on the basis of working days (22 days)?

2500/22*2 is the correct one.Gross salary divided by total no of working days multiplied by 2 lops

It depends on the service agreement entered into between employer and employee and
you can enquire with neighboring similar companies on the above issue.
Acts depends on country to country. If it is US company the rules are different
